The National Naval Aviation Museum is the world’s largest Naval Aviation museum and one of the most-visited museums in the state of Florida. Tarkiln Bayou Preserve State Park is a 4,290-acre preserve, a unit of Florida State Park located 10 miles southwest of Pensacola, in northwestern Florida. It is home to four species of endangered pitcher plants, as well as other rare and endangered plant species.
Think of Big Lagoon State Park as a gateway. It not only offers swimming, boating, fishing, camping, hiking and paddling, but adventurers also can begin or end a 1,515-mile sea kayaking journey on the Florida Circumnavigational Saltwater Paddling Trail around the entire state.
Bruce Beach Park
Bruce Beach offers beautiful scenery, well-maintained concrete walking paths, and a playground for children. Visitors also highlight the clean restrooms and picnic areas, making it a great spot for family fun along downtown Pensacola and Pensacola Bay.

Pensacola Beach consists of Casino Beach – the main hub featuring the iconic Pensacola Beach Ball water tower, shops, restaurants, and the long fishing pier – as well as a calm sound-side beach area with a boardwalk, ideal for families and paddleboarding located along Quietwater Beach.
