History

Orange Grove RV Park has been welcoming travelers to Bakersfield since 1989. What began more than three decades ago as a unique place to camp among the citrus trees has grown into a favorite stop for RVers looking for spacious sites, friendly service, and a setting unlike the typical roadside RV park.

Set within a 40-acre orange grove, the park has always been shaped by the trees around it. Generations of guests have pulled in beneath the citrus, watched the sun rise over the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and enjoyed fresh oranges right outside their RV during harvest season. That experience remains at the heart of Orange Grove today.

Over the years, the park has continued to offer more for the travelers who return season after season, from big-rig-friendly sites and clean facilities to gathering spaces like The Lodge and The Barn. But the things that made Orange Grove special from the beginning are still here: the grove, the hospitality, and a comfortable place to slow down and stay awhile.
